Shivraj Dhaba, Karad is South Maharashtra's most well-known veg family restaurant, popular for its 'Akkha Masoora' dish and other veg Maharashtrian cuisines. As a result of its unique cuisine item Akkha Masoora, the hotel became famous all over Maharashtra. As the restaurant's main branch is located in Karad city, they have started parcel services throughout Maharashtra state in order to make their taste and special dishes accessible to everyone.
In addition to Akka Masoor, they offer a variety of other Maharashtrian food items in their parcel services. They were using the same parcel packaging for all types of parcels only having a picture of their signature dish Akkha Masoora on it. As a result of this, they were faced with a number of delivery problems and customer complaints. Consequently, it was necessary for them to develop distinctive and informative food packaging for their food items. From a branding perspective, the brand wanted its food packaging to reflect the visual appearance of its restaurant.
Considering the cause of the problem, we looked for a way to redesign the packaging in a way that was simple, yet creative. Based on our analysis, we were able to produce results that included the visual aesthetics of their restaurants. Using different appetizing colors for the borders enhances the overall appearance of the package and allows parcels to be distinguished.
